I would usually describe my preferred DJ style as a progressive house specialist whose sets span everything ranging from ambient, electronica, deep house, tech house, organic house, melodic house, funky/vocal house, trance, minimal, and even techno.
However, recently I have been playing regular 'open format' gigs at Propaganda Music Canteen in Fleet (Hampshire) covering almost all forms of dance/club genres including DnB, RnB, Rap, Disco, Oldskool, Rave etc.
I have been behind the decks since 1995 and still own an impressive vinyl collection of oldskool rave, house, progressive house, deep house, trance and breaks and I have maintained the mixing skills to play vinyl sets live.
I own an all-in-one Denon DJ controller that I am happy to bring to gigs when needed, which includes the ability to stream music when connected to Wifi. This means in an open format environment, I am able to accommodate more or less any song request if required.
I am also comfortable using a mic and addressing audiences if required, although speaking is not usually an element of my DJing even in bars/pubs.
For bookings requiring any of my preferred genres of house/electronic music and with built in DJ decks, I am comfortable using any Pioneer/AlphaTheta setup or Denon DJ equipment. I do not currently have the capacity to share equipment with DJs using Serato, Traktor or any other platform.
I have never been a full time DJ, but I have experience of playing gigs across the UK in cities such as Bournemouth, Bristol, London, and Manchester.
Most recently I have hosted one off events around Surrey, playing regularly at Propaganda Music Canteen, and I hold a monthly DJ residency on the internet station Organic Deep House Radio based in Dubai, playing progressive house, deep house and electronica/breaks selections alongside a global family of DJs.
