Born in Louisiana, growing up in Los Angeles, Fred started his musical career singing in gospel choirs and playing drums in the school band.
Fred toured the world with Johnny Guitar Watson. Other artists he has toured and/or recorded with are : Vaya Con Dios, Ike Turner, Fred Wesley, The Magic Platters, ...
Today, with his own band “COSY” Fred ploughs through every town and festival in Europe, making people party like never before on good old and new funky tunes from the soul of Black America.
