Lille Røde / Band
Female fronted band playing original intelligent pop with a political and social slant and a sense of humour. Lile Rode can go out as an acoustic trio delivering Americana, edgy folk sound or as a full 4 piece band which packs more of a rocky pop punch with shades of psychedelia.
Lille Røde was created by pro singer/actress Anna Mountford following a sucessful career in British film, television, theatre and music. In 2010 she moved to LA to live and work. That's when she began writing music, as a knee jerk response to the culture shock Hollywood was.
The songs are high quality, modern, sassy and thought provoking with catchy hooks and guitar riffs. Entertainment and is the buzz word here.
"Let's have some fun, escape for a bit and enjoy music together. Maybe some of my words will resonate and we'll find we share common ground. That's what music does best I think, unites us in pain, rage, crazy, happy, confusion...the only thing I can't offer you is a love song...yet " : )
