During 2022-2023, Luis is launching the tetralogy 'El desconocido levante español' (recorded in Egypt, Mexico, Brazil and Spain) of which he has just made an international tour of more than 30 concerts in 2022 and reaching number 5 on the World Music Charts (Ethnocloud) in December or as a revelation artist in 2022 on 'Spanish National Radio' (RNE) programs such as La Riproposta and other international radio programs.
Luis Gimenez Amoros (ethnomusicologist and composer), a native of Villena (Alicante), has lived in various countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America as a professor of ethnomusicology at universities and as a composer. His music expresses the historical/cultural circulation of Levantine music from Alicante/Valencia with the aforementioned continents where I have lived.
Being one of the artistic projects with the greatest international exposure of the unknown Spanish Levante, it would be a pleasure to be able to play and even be able to carry out one of its workshops in your center in 2023.
